Our Foundation
Drawing on techniques developed in Tokyo and further refined through years of experience in Australia, Yuki has spent more than 30 years working closely with clients and caring for the health of their hair and scalp.
Throughout his career as a hairdresser, the focus has never been simply on making hair look beautiful.
At the heart of YUKI Japanese Head Spa is a simple belief:
Understand the condition of the scalp and hair, and provide only the care that is truly needed.
Rather than adding more for the sake of appearance, we believe in thoughtful, purposeful care based on experience, observation, and touch.
Our Origin: Water Head Spa
The origin of our Water Head Spa goes back more than 25 years, to scalp cleansing with π Water (Pi Water) in Japan.
From the beginning, the purpose was simple: to create a clean and healthy scalp environment and support the natural condition of the hair.
Over the years, our methods have evolved to include carbonated water and other techniques.
But the foundation has remained unchanged:
Start with the scalp. Respect the hair. Focus on the essentials.
Beyond the Trends
Today, Japanese Head Spa is gaining attention around the world.
It is evolving into many different forms — relaxation, scalp care, beauty, sensory experiences, and new styles of treatment.
We welcome this growth.
At the same time, we believe that as Head Spa becomes more popular, it is important not to lose sight of its original purpose.
For us, the question always comes first:

We do not reject new ideas or beautiful presentation.

Our Philosophy in Practice
In Australia, YUKI Japanese Head Spa continues to share this philosophy through both salon treatments and professional education.
We work with therapists and practitioners not only on technique, but also on how to observe, understand, and respond to each individual client.
Yuki also works directly with the IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists) and is involved in the development of professional insurance standards for Head Spa in Australia.
This helps support a safer and more professional environment as Head Spa continues to grow.
Within our own salons, the same philosophy is shared across the team.
It is not simply about following a set sequence.
It is about looking, listening, feeling, and caring for the person in front of us.

Today, it is beginning to find a new place within the global wellness world.
As it grows, we want to share more than the visible techniques of Japanese Head Spa.
